  • Hello beautiful souls.

A lot of people are feeling the energies at the moment and a lot of it isn't coming from you or really about you. Karmically we are connected to others and sometimes we need to clean up the energy holding us connected or keeping us stuck.

Below is a link to a video from Sally Kempton who shares insights into karmic relationships and how we can energetically cut the cords to people who may energetically charge us. The visualisation at 36mins is great for releasing any relationships you want to remove from you karmically.

This visualisation is really useful it has served me well many times, especially with toxic bosses.

I really love the use of flowers in the cord cutting process, hence the pic below :)

  • Commuting

Travelling to and from work has always been quite a lengthy experience for me, except of course when I have worked from home. For many years I have chosen the rural life so work has been quite a distance from my house.

How we make our way to work is a decision based on location, of both your home and your workplace, as well as other factors such as environmental considerations, time and other responsibilities (think childcare pickup times).

For the most part, my experience has usually been to drive or catch a train when I worked in the CBD. I loved the driving option as it provided an opportunity to listen and sometimes 'dance' to music, listen to podcasts and audibles and could be in my own space. Luckily I was never one to be susceptible to road rage and bumper to bumper traffic never really bothered me.

The train had benefits too, I could read a book, watch a movie on my laptop and even get a jump on emails. These days riding a bike or even walking would be preferable but not always practical. ATM my co-working office is approx. 35km from my home so bike riding and walking are not an option at the moment ;)

How do you commute to work? What do you love most about the mode of transport you have chosen?
